  Digital Radiography-CDR (computed dental radiography) In addition to the conventional films many dentists use, we now have available computer generated X-rays. In our office we have been using this type of X-ray for over 10 years. It enables Dr. Mann to produce images of the teeth in less than 5 seconds with an 80% reduction in radiation. Using this system, an electronic sensor produces the computerized radiographs which appear instantly on a computer screen. These images can then be optimized, printed, archived indefinitely and sent to your dentist. |
